Nearest airports:

Baden-Baden Karlsruhe (1:30 hours away)
Served by bus lines:
– 215, 234 (to Karlsruhe Rastatt Railway Station) followed by RE7 train to Offenburg’s train station
– X34 (to Buhl) followed by either RE7 or RE2 trains to Offenburg’s train station

Basel-Mulhouse-Fribourg (2:00 hours away)
Served by bus lines:
– Freiburger Reisedienst to Freiburg, followed by ICE 278 train to Offenburg’s train station
– Line 50 or Flixbus to Basel, followed by ICE 278 train to Offenburg’s train station

Strasbourg (1:15 hours away)
Served by trains:

From Offenburg’s train station to Schloss Ortenberg:
– Bus 7160 (direction Haslach) departs every 45 minutes from Offenburg city centre to the castle – alternatively please let us know in advance if you need anyone to go and pick you up.

There is limited (20 spaces) parking available near the castle (here), but there is an alternative car park here (roughly 15m walking away)

Everything you need to know once
you’re at Ortenberg Castle

Dress code:
– This is a business casual event.

When you arrive to the venue:
– At the gate you will find a member of the organization. Please present the ticket or email confirmation and you will be given access to the castle.

Access and identification:
– You will be given a lanyard that you should keep with yourself at all times, and that is personal and untransferable.

What guests need to bring to the hotel:
– Please bring you own hygiene kit, and also your own towels. Bear in mind that the bathrooms are shared.

What meals are included and which ones are not:
– On day 1 (1st May), you will have the dinner included.
– On day 2 (2nd May), breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.
– On day 3 (3rd May), breakfast is included.
Other meals or drinks are not included.

If you are bringing your children:
– Please let us know if you are bringing your children, Schloss Ortenberg and the event are family friendly! We are happy to help you plan anything that may be needed.

Accessibility, special needs support, allergies:
– If you have any special needs, including allergies or physical limitations, please let us know in advance so that we can accommodate for that.

Lost and found and item security advice:
– If you lose anything, please reach out to the hotel reception or a member of the organization. It is a public space, so keep in mind your personal items at all times.

– Exits and gathering spots are clearly marked in all areas of the castle. Please reach out to the hotel or a member of the organization if you need further assistance.
