The Future of the European Federation will Start Here

For over a year, we at Ave Europa have organised ourselves and met across the continent. Now, we unite. On May 1st, we come together and get down to work. This General Assembly bridges the trench and the tower, gathering the defenders of European Unity of all sorts in one place to launch the next stage of our movement; namely the turn towards a real paneuropean political party.

The event

Why should you attend?

A strong, united Europe will not be built by you sitting at home. Join us to learn and strategise face-to-face with leading europatriotic activists, veterans from the frontlines in Ukraine and EU policy experts. This is your chance to be there, when history will be written and the future of Europe shaped.

The Castle

To withstand the geopolitical storms of our age, Europe must become a fortress. European History was more often written in strongholds, than sterile conference rooms. We have chosen Ortenberg Castle in the Black Forest as our place to gather to honour this heritage. The Castle offers the gravity and inspiration we need to forge true european unity – and you can see Strasbourg on the Horizon, where the Parliament awaits.

What to Expect?

The General Assembly begins in the afternoon of May 1st 2026 and concludes at noon on Sunday, May 3rd 2026. While the full program and speaker lineup will be revealed in the coming weeks, the objective is clear: This is a historic weekend to strengthen our federalist cause. Registered Ave Members will exercise their democratic rights and vote on policy and leadership, while all attendees — members and guests alike — will join workshops, panels, and networking sessions to up-skill and connect.

Tickets & Attendance: You do not need to be a member of Ave Europa to attend; tickets are open to all. Both Ave Europa members and europatriotic non-members are welcome to purchase a ticket and join the event. However, urgency is required to secure a spot. As of December 7, 2025, our movement exceeds 400 members, yet Ortenberg Castle offers accommodation and catering for only 140 guests. Accordingly our tickets are capped at 140 and we expect to sell out quickly.

Accommodation: Staying at the Castle is part of the community experience to foster camaraderie. Please be aware that on-site accommodation consists exclusively of shared bedrooms. We are committed to distributing rooms in a way that ensures comfort for all guests. By default, rooms are separated by gender (female-only and male-only rooms). Mixed bedrooms are available specifically for families and friend groups. After purchasing your ticket, you will receive a form to indicate your preferences: If you are traveling with family or friends, we will make sure you are allocated to the same room. If you prefer not to sleep in a shared room, you are welcome to book a hotel nearby at your own expense. Please inform us if you plan to stay off-site. There is no discount on the ticket price if you choose not to use the Castle accommodation but have booked a normal ticket.

Important Booking Information: Please book early to secure your spot. Tickets are binding and non-refundable, though name transfers are allowed. For this please reach out to us. For Ave Members unable to attend in person, your national chapters and international coordinators will provide details on hybrid participation options. Ave Europa Members who currently pay membership fees to their national chapter may be eligible for a discount. Please reach out to your national board or local coordinator for details.

The General Assembly is jointly organised by Ave Europa International and Ave Europa Deutschland e.V..
